Pasadena Yacht Club and Pasadena Avenue Driveways
Pasadena Avenue feeds the Pasadena Yacht Club and the older South Pasadena lots between Boca Ciega Bay and the Corey Causeway approach. These drives are different from the canal-lot work we already cover in Pasadena Isles. The street is busier, aprons meet county or city right-of-way more often, and guest parking has to clear boat-trailer swing if the owner keeps a slip nearby.
PaverForge Hardscapes treats the private field and the public apron as two specs. The private field can be 80mm interlocking pavers on a compacted base. The apron follows the jurisdiction, which may still want concrete in the right-of-way even when the house side is pavers.
What we check on a Pasadena Avenue lot
Where the private field stops and the city or county apron begins.
Sight triangles at the driveway if the lot sits near the club entrance.
Existing oak roots along the parkway that will heave a thin base.
HOA or club architectural notes if the property is in a reviewed streetscape.
Layout starts with property pins and a string line so the new field does not creep into the neighbor or the right-of-way. After excavation we proof-roll, correct pump, and compact in lifts. Edge restraint is pinned or haunched so boat-trailer tires do not walk the first course.
If you are on Pasadena Avenue or next to the yacht club and want a driveway that matches the house instead of a cracked slab, call 727-490-9798.
