Patrician Point St. Pete Paver Repair and Pool Decks

Patrician Point is a canal and bayou pocket in south St. Petersburg, near Pinellas Point and the Maximo waterfront. Houses sit close to seawalls, pool cages fill the back yard, and the paver field is often the only path from the driveway to the dock. Salt air eats cheap plastic edge restraint, and a settled border at the cage door is the trip edge we get called for.

Repair before a full tear-out

If the middle of the field is still locked and only the border or the equipment pad has dropped, we lift those courses, recompact the base, and reset them. A soldier-course repair band from leftover units hides the cut. We do not polymeric-sand a pool deck the same afternoon a thunderstorm is on the radar, and we keep a bond break at the pool beam so the deck can move without riding up the coping.

Canal lots and cage floors

Dock approaches need a thicker edge and a pitch that does not dump backwash onto the seawall cap. Screen-cage floors get a weep path, a threshold that still clears the slider track, and isolation at the kick plate. Metal edge restraint is the better choice within a block of open water. Plastic spikes alone loosen after the second wet season.

PaverForge Hardscapes repairs and rebuilds paver fields across south St. Pete, including Patrician Point. Call 727-490-9798 or start at paverforge.com/services.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
