Pierce Street Clearwater Paver Courtyards

Pierce Street sits in downtown Clearwater, where cottages and small courtyards open to an alley or a short street apron. Access is tight, and a mainland spec that ignores the alley grade fails in one wet season.

Courtyard sequence

We stage from the alley, lift the failed concrete, and compact base in lifts so the courtyard does not pond at the back door. A soldier course at the alley lets a later city patch come out without tearing the field.

Downspouts get a splash pad or a tie-in, not a low joint at the wall. Shade and irrigation keep the sand damp, so polymeric sand goes in on a dry window, not the same afternoon as the set.

How to start

Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. Send photos of the courtyard, the alley mouth, and any standing water. We walk the lot before we lock a number.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
