Pinecrest Clearwater Paver Driveways and Front Walks

Pinecrest is a north Clearwater pocket off the Belcher corridor, with mature oaks, older ranch houses, and driveways that were often poured thin or set on sand. After a wet summer the apron dips, the walk pulls away from the stoop, and irrigation overspray stains the joints.

What we rebuild, and what we can reuse

If the units are sound we lift them, undercut the soft base, and reset on compacted crushed concrete. If the pavers are chalked or the pattern is a patchwork of old repairs, a new field with a darker soldier border is the cleaner fix. Edge restraint is pinned at the corners, not just along the straight runs.

Front walks get the same spec at a lighter thickness. We match the garage-slab elevation so the threshold does not become a trip edge, and we keep a small gap at the slab so the field can move without shoving the house.
