Ponderosa Shores Paver Patios in St. Petersburg
Ponderosa Shores is a smaller St. Petersburg pocket where the outdoor work is usually a patio and a walk, not a long suburban drive. Houses sit close, screen cages are common, and the finished floor of the lanai has to meet the slider without a trip edge.
PaverForge sets those patios on a compacted base with about a two-percent pitch away from the house, a bond break at the slab or pool beam, and a soldier course that hides the cut edge. Where a cage post already punches the old concrete, the new field isolates the post so the pavers can move without cracking a mortar joint that was never going to last.
Furniture, a grill, and a hose reel all want a flat spot. The field stays drained. The grill gets a heat setback. The hose reel gets a small pad with a trapped drain so wash-down water does not sheet across the joints.
Micro-chamfer pavers at the stoop, full-chamfer only where tires will never sit
Channel or slot drain at the slider if the cage gutter dumps inside the cage
Extra pallet planned for cuts around posts and the house number band
