Pool-Deck Splash-Zone Joints That Stay Serviceable in Pinellas

A Pinellas pool deck has two jobs. The field has to stay flat. The splash zone has to take chlorine, salt cells, sunscreen, and a weekly hose without turning into a crust that traps moisture against the cage footer.

PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds splash-zone joints and the first rows off the waterline. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.

What we will not do

We will not flood a closed polymeric joint against a wet cage footer and call it done. That joint either washes out or turns into a dam. Splash-zone joints need a spec you can maintain: a locked field behind the splash, and a joint at the waterline that can be re-sanded after a season of splash.

  • Pitch away from the cage and the house, not toward the door

  • Coping-to-deck joint that can move a little without opening a trip edge

  • No early sealer over damp splash-zone sand

  • Re-sand after the first heavy season instead of pretending the joint is permanent

How to start a splash-zone quote

Send photos of the waterline, the first three feet of deck, and any white bloom or soft joints. We walk the cage before we lock a number.
