Ridgemoor Palm Harbor Paver Driveways and Patios
Ridgemoor is the tree-lined residential pocket in eastern Palm Harbor, near East Lake and the Keystone Road corridor. Drives are longer than beach-lot aprons, oaks own the parkway strips, and HOA boards usually want a sample panel before the first pallet hits the curb. The failure mode is not salt air. It is a thin base under a long tire path, plus roots that lift the walk two years after the sand was swept.
Base section for a long east-county drive
We excavate to a firm subgrade, undercut muck, and build the crushed-concrete base in lifts with a plate compactor, then proof-roll before bedding sand goes down. Edge restraint is spiked on the outside of the border, with extra pins at the driveway flares and at any radius into the garage. A one-way cross pitch beats a decorative crown when the side swale is the only place water can go.
Walks, lanai floors, and HOA packets
Front walks get a contrasting soldier course so the step from the street to the porch reads clearly. Lanai floors stay isolated from the screen-cage posts and the house slab, with a heel-proof slot or a simple surface pitch to the cage weep. For architectural review we leave a labeled sample, a color name, and a one-page section sketch — enough for the board, not a plan set the city did not ask for.
