San Christopher Drive Safety Harbor Paver Drives

San Christopher Drive sits on the bay side of Safety Harbor. Lots run long toward the water, salt air works the joints, and a seawall cap is not a place to send stormwater.

Waterfront constraints

The drive has to clear the house slab, the screen-cage threshold, and whatever setback the seawall survey shows. A flat field looks fine until the first king tide leaves a line of sand at the garage.

How we set the field

We excavate the failed concrete, compact base in lifts, and pitch the pavers so water leaves the house without dumping over the cap. Edge restraint is metal rated for salt air, not a plastic strip that opens in a year. Utility lids get grade rings so a later repair does not pry the field.

PaverForge Hardscapes installs these drives from Safety Harbor to St. Pete Beach. Call 727-490-9798 or book online with a photo of the apron and the seawall side.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
