Saturn Avenue is one of the planet streets in mid-Clearwater, north of Gulf-to-Bay and near the Countryside ranches. Lots are wider than downtown Dunedin, mostly flat, and the typical failure is a cracked slab apron plus a sunken panel where the irrigation main crosses the drive.

Flat grade, real base

Flat does not mean no pitch. We still set the field to drain to the street or a side swale, and we do not trap water against the garage. The failed concrete comes out, the sand subgrade gets geotextile, and the crushed base goes down in compacted lifts before bedding sand and pavers.

Irrigation heads and the valve box at the lawn edge get a flush collar or get moved off the tire path before the field is set. A soldier-course border in a darker blend hides the turn-in scuffs that show up on these Countryside-area drives.
