Seminole Hardscapes: Pavers on Mainland Pinellas Lots
Seminole sits inland from our St. Pete Beach shop, but the jobs look familiar: summer rain, sandy patches, and driveways that were set on a thin bed of sand. PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels pavers in Seminole so the field stays locked after the wet season, not just the week after install.
What Seminole lots actually need
Mainland Pinellas soil is mixed. Some Seminole yards sit on packed sand. Others hold water against a slab or a low backyard. A pretty paver color will not fix that. We size the base for driveway or patio load, pitch the surface away from the house, and restrain the edge so the field does not creep.
Compacted aggregate base sized for cars if it is a driveway, not a patio spec under tires
Positive drainage toward the street, a drain line, or a low point that already works
Edge restraint that stays in place through heat and rain
Joint sand that locks after compaction instead of washing out in the first storm
Driveways, patios, and re-levels
Most Seminole calls are driveways that have settled at the apron, patios that pond after afternoon storms, or walkways that rock. If the existing stones are still sound, we re-level instead of tearing the field out. If the base was never built, we rebuild it and reuse what we can.
Read the driveway and patio guides on this blog if you want the St. Pete Beach version of the same spec. Seminole jobs use the same crew and the same sequence. Access is usually easier than a barrier-island cottage, which can lower haul-off time.
How to start a Seminole quote
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Send a few photos of the surface, the low spots, and the street frontage. We typically reply the same business day and will walk the lot before we lock a number. We also serve St. Pete Beach, Pinellas Park, Gulfport, South Pasadena, and south St. Petersburg from the same shop.
