Seminole Isle Paver Courts Near Lake Seminole Park

Seminole Isle sits on a private peninsula in Long Bayou, across from Lake Seminole Park. The homes are mostly 2005–2007 Key West-style condos and townhomes behind a staffed gate, so the hardscape work is usually a court, a walk, or a small entry pad, not a full single-family driveway rebuild.

What the peninsula actually needs

Water is on more than one side of the lot. King tides and heavy summer rain can sit in low courts even when the building itself is fine. We pitch the field away from the threshold, keep a pinned edge so the sand bed cannot wash into the bayou, and leave a clean joint at the garage slab so the pavers are not locked to the concrete.

Association rules matter here. A color or pattern change usually needs an architectural packet before we order material. We photograph the existing field, note the gate hours, and stage pallets where the association allows so the crew is not blocking the shared drive.

How we build the court

We cut out failed sections, undercut soft spots, and rebuild a compacted base before any unit goes back. Bedding sand is screeded to a consistent thickness. Borders get extra pins at corners. Joints are swept and locked only after the field is dry enough that the sand does not haze.

Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Send photos of the court, the low spot, and the gate approach. We serve Seminole Isle from our St. Pete Beach shop, along with Seminole, Largo, and the gulf beaches.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
