Slider-Threshold Height After a Pinellas Paver Re-Level

A re-level that ignores the sliding-glass track leaves either a trip lip or a puddle against the house. PaverForge Hardscapes treats the threshold as the control elevation on Pinellas lanais and pool decks.

What we measure first

  • Finished floor and track height at every slider

  • Existing pitch toward drains, weeps, or the yard

  • Screen-cage posts and kick plates that cannot move

  • Whether the field can come up, come down, or needs a short landing band

If the old field sits proud of the track, grinding the paver faces is not a fix. We lift units, correct the bedding, and rebuild the first courses so water leaves the door and feet do not catch the nosing.

Bond-breakers at the pool beam stay in place. We do not mortar the field to the house slab and hope the joint never moves.
