Snell Gardens Paver Driveways near Snell Isle

Snell Gardens is the residential pocket beside Snell Isle in northeast St. Petersburg. It is not the island itself. Streets are quieter, lots are still oak-covered, and many drives share a rhythm with the brick-street blocks nearby even when the private field is concrete pavers.

The work PaverForge sees here is a tired driveway throat, a walk that has heaved at the sidewalk, and a patio that was overlaid on old concrete. Overlay is the wrong fix once the slab has cracked or the sand under it has pumped. The field comes out, the base is proof-rolled, and the new pavers go in at a height that meets the existing garage lip.

Borders matter on these streets. A darker soldier course takes the tire scuff at the apron, and a mid-field band can mark the walk without looking like a different job. Color is blended across pallets before the first course is laid.

  • City sidewalk and apron stay in the right-of-way scope

  • 80 mm pavers on the drive, 60 mm on the garden walk

  • Polymeric sand after the surface is dry, not the same afternoon as a storm

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
