South Dunedin Paver Walks and Drives
South Dunedin is the mid-century pocket south of downtown Dunedin, toward the Clearwater line. It is not Dunedin Isles on the sound and it is not the Harbor View waterfront we have already written up. The lots are mostly inland ranches, some newer infill, and driveways that were poured when the street was quieter.
PaverForge Hardscapes replaces those cracked concrete drives and rebuilds the front walk so the entry actually meets the driveway. The usual failure is a settled garage bay and a walk that pitches back at the stoop. We undercut the soft spot, compact a new base in lifts, and set the walk on its own edge so it can be lifted later without tearing the drive.
Dunedin sidewalk and apron rules still apply at the street. We stop the private field at the right-of-way and match the existing apron. If the city has already marked a grind-and-raise on the sidewalk, we wait for that elevation before we lock the throat.
Front walks with a contrasting border so the entry reads from the street
Side-yard gates left operational, with the track off the paver field
Irrigation valve boxes reset flush after the new grade
80 mm pavers where a boat or work truck parks nightly
Downtown Dunedin is a short drive, but these streets do not need a tourist-district patio spec. A straightforward running bond with a soldier border holds up and is easy to lift for a future sewer repair. Call PaverForge at 727-490-9798 to walk a South Dunedin drive.
Shade from older oaks means polymeric sand needs a dry day to cure. We do not sand a field the afternoon a gulf storm is stacked on the radar.
