Spring Bayou and Craig Park Hardscapes in Tarpon Springs
Spring Bayou is the civic water in downtown Tarpon Springs. Craig Park sits on the rim. Storefronts, churches, and small houses share tight streets that already carry Sponge Dock traffic. PaverForge Hardscapes installs courtyards, front walks, and compact drives on these blocks with a pitch that still sheds when the bayou is high.
Tidal lots and historic edges
A field that looks flat on a dry January afternoon can pond against a stoop in September. We shoot grades to the street or a channel drain, keep the first course off the house slab with an isolation joint, and use a tumbled or textured paver where salt spray and foot traffic meet. Plastic edge on a tidal parkway fails; we pin a heavier restraint or turn the soldier course into a haunched concrete beam.
Courtyard and stoop rebuilds on the bayou rim
Storefront walks that meet public sidewalk without a trip lip
Compact parking pads that still take a passenger car
Drain tie-ins that do not dump onto a neighbor's stoop
Working around the park and events
Craig Park hosts gatherings. We do not block the park face with pallets, and we wrap cuts before weekend traffic. If a city or county permit is in play for work in the right-of-way, we photograph the existing condition so inspection is not a second trip.
