Spring Lake Hardscapes in Pinellas Park
Spring Lake is the Pinellas Park pocket near 62nd Avenue North, close enough to the lake that the water table shows up in a shovel hole after a wet week. Lawns stay green. Drive shoulders do not.
PaverForge Hardscapes installs paver drives, walks, and side-yard pads in Spring Lake. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
Lake-edge lots behave differently
A base that is fine in a drier Pinellas Park block can pump here if it is placed wet and never proof-rolled. Soft shoulders at the lawn edge settle first. Downspouts that dump on the walk wash joint sand out in one season.
We look for organic pockets before we talk pattern. If the probe hits muck, that pocket is undercut and replaced with compacted aggregate. Geotextile separates sugar sand from the base so fines do not migrate up into the bedding.
Walks, drives, and the garage match
Walks can be a lighter section. Drives cannot. The garage threshold sets the high point. We match that elevation so the slider and the overhead door still clear, then pitch the field away from the house. Edge restraint stays pinned where mowers and tires hit the border.
Joint sand is swept and compacted, then left to lock before cars return. A no-vehicle window after install is part of the job, not an extra.
Start with photos of the low edge
Photograph the shoulder that dips, the garage lip, and any standing water after rain. PaverForge will say whether this is a re-level or a base rebuild. Call 727-490-9798.
