Straub Park and Baywalk-Adjacent Courtyards in Downtown St. Pete
Condo and restaurant courtyards along Straub Park and the Baywalk sit in the postcard part of downtown St. Petersburg. They also sit in the wet part. Festival weekends, hose-downs, and wind-driven rain will find every low joint. We build those courtyards as outdoor rooms with a real base and a place for water to leave.
Park-front details
Many of these fields are small, visible from the sidewalk, and tied to a building slab or a pool beam. We isolate those edges, keep the first course off the beam, and pitch to a catch basin or the park-side drain instead of trapping water against the storefront.
Compacted base even on a 200-square-foot courtyard.
Isolation at the building slab and any pool beam.
Staging planned around First Friday and weekend events.
Texture that hides a little sand without turning into a trip field.
How to start
Photos of the courtyard, the door threshold, and the low corner after rain are enough for a first scope. We will tell you if the existing pavers can be lifted and re-set or if the base has to come out.
