Venetian Isles and Harbor Isle Pavers on Tampa Bay
Venetian Isles and Harbor Isle sit on Tampa Bay, a short run from our St. Pete Beach shop, and they do not behave like a Gulf-front cottage. Groundwater is closer to the surface. Seawalls and boat lifts crowd the yard. The street is often a single-lane loop with nowhere to stage a dump truck.
PaverForge Hardscapes installs and re-levels pavers on these waterfront lots so the field stays locked after a king tide, not just the week after install. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online.
What a bay-side lot actually needs
Most calls here are driveways that pond after a summer storm, pool decks that rock near the seawall, and walkways that were set on a thin sand bed. Color will not fix that. We size the base for the load, keep the field above standing water where the lot allows, and restrain the edge so the stones do not creep toward the water.
Compacted aggregate base sized for cars if it is a driveway, not a patio spec under tires
Positive drainage toward a legal outfall, not toward the seawall cap
Edge restraint that stays put through heat, rain, and tidal groundwater
Joint sand that locks after compaction instead of washing into the bay
What we quote on Venetian Isles and Harbor Isle
New paver driveways and aprons on tight waterfront streets
Pool-adjacent fields and walkways tied into existing slabs
Re-level and re-lay when the stones are still sound
Matching existing pavers when only one section failed
If you are comparing contractors, ask what they will compact and where the water goes on a high-water table lot. Those two answers separate a field that lasts from one that looks finished on day one.
How to start a quote
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Send photos of the surface, the seawall, and the street frontage. We typically reply the same business day and walk the lot before we lock a number. We also serve Coquina Key, Shore Acres, Isla del Sol, Maximo, and south St. Petersburg from the same crew.
