Walsingham Park-Adjacent Driveways in Largo
Walsingham Park draws weekend traffic along Walsingham Road and 119th Street. Park-adjacent Largo driveways take more turning loads than a quiet cul-de-sac, and thin bases show it first at the apron and the first parking stall.
Base, apron, and staging
We excavate to a depth that leaves room for compacted aggregate, not a two-inch sand bed on native sand. The public-sidewalk to private-apron joint is saw-cut and rebuilt so the city walk stays at grade. Extra pallets stage on plywood or mats so we do not rut the park-side swale.
If the lot hosts overflow parking for park events, we thicken the section at the stall and use a darker soldier course that hides tire scuffs. Drainage is pitched to an on-lot basin or the existing swale, not across the sidewalk into the park.
