Warehouse Arts District Alleys and Courtyards in St. Petersburg

The Warehouse Arts District around 16th Street South is not Grand Central and it is not the Innovation District by Tropicana Field. It is adaptive-reuse buildings, shared courtyards, and alley drives that take load-in vans. A residential running-bond patio will look wrong here in a year because the use is wrong.

PaverForge builds those fields as working hardscape: a compacted base, a pattern that can take a turning tire, and joints that can be washed down after an event without losing half the sand.

What this district asks for

  • Alley geometry. Wheel tracks concentrate on the same two lines every week.

  • Courtyard drainage that has to miss a roll-up door threshold.

  • HOA or landlord packets on some converted buildings. We write the scope so it can be attached.

Materials that belong here

Concrete pavers in a herringbone or a large-format field with a soldier-course edge. Porcelain only where the use is foot traffic and the substrate is a true slab we can accept. We will not mortar-set a courtyard that needs to be opened later for utilities.

Night work and weekend work are possible when the building needs the alley open on weekdays. That is a scheduling conversation, not a surprise on install morning.

Call 727-490-9798 or book online. A courtyard photo and how trucks currently enter is enough to start.

Flush Seawall Flag-Staff Socket Plates

A flush flag-staff socket plate sets a removable courtesy-flag socket in the seawall cap or dock-edge pavers so the opening is not a toe catch when the staff is out.
