Wildwood Neighborhood Driveways in Pinellas Park
Wildwood is a mainland Pinellas Park neighborhood, not a barrier-island patio job. Lots are deeper, driveways take a car every day, and the soil is sandy with pockets of organic fill left from the original build. Skipping base depth because you cannot see the Gulf from the porch is how these drives settle at the apron.
What we rebuild instead of covering
A pretty overlay on a pumping base fails in the first wet season. We excavate to a firm bottom, place crushed-concrete base in lifts, and proof-roll before bedding sand goes down. Driveways get an 80mm field. Patio pavers do not go under tires.
The apron has to meet the city sidewalk and the gutter without a dam. If the sidewalk belongs to the city, we match it. We do not grind a public walk to force a private slope.
Patios and side yards
Rear patios still need a place for water to leave. Irrigation overspray is common on these streets and will stain a fresh polymeric joint if the heads are not reset. Side-yard walks are staged from the driveway, not across a neighbor's lawn.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online. Send photos of the throat, any settled apron, and the garage lip. We serve Pinellas Park from our St. Pete Beach shop and walk the lot before the quote is final.
