77th Avenue Treasure Island Courtyards
77th Avenue on Treasure Island is a short gulf-to-bay block. Courtyards sit a few feet above a high water table, and salt air works the joint sand loose. This is not the 77th Avenue South work we do in Pinellas Point. The island lots are smaller and the wind load is higher.
What these courtyards need
A courtyard between the house and the screen cage has to drain after a summer storm without sending water at the slider. We look at the cage footer, the pool deck joint, and the side-yard exit before we reset a single paver.
Base and salt air
We rebuild the failed section on compacted base, restrain the open edges, and use polymeric sand rated for a wet coastal yard. Where the water table is high, we do not over-excavate. A stable lift of base beats a deep hole that fills overnight.
How to start a quote
Call 727-490-9798 or use the book-online page. Send the courtyard, the slider threshold, and the street frontage. PaverForge Hardscapes is based in St. Pete Beach and walks Treasure Island lots before locking a number.
