After-Storm Hardscape Inspection on Pinellas Pavers

A Pinellas storm does not have to lift the whole field to damage a paver job. Joint sand leaves first. Then the edge course rocks. Then water sits against the garage slab because the pitch filled with fines. PaverForge Hardscapes walks that sequence before the next king tide.

Inspection order we use

  • Joints: polymeric washout versus open-graded stone that simply moved

  • Edges: spikes pulled, corners lifted, Belgian block rolled into the swale

  • Pitch: ponding at the slab, the pool beam, or the sidewalk apron

  • Drains: catch basins buried in leaf mash, pop-ups stuck shut, cleanouts full

If the units are sound we re-level and re-sand. If the base pumped, we open a test panel before we quote a tear-out. Photograph the low spots while they are still wet. Call 727-490-9798 or email PaverForge@gmail.com the same day if you can.
