Building a Paver Landing Under a New Lanai Pass-Through Window
A pass-through window from the kitchen onto the lanai drops ice, rinse water, and foot traffic onto one small patch of the patio. If that patch is just the same field as the rest of the deck, the joints wash and the units rock.
PaverForge Hardscapes builds a dedicated landing under the opening: a slightly raised or clearly pitched pad, isolation from the house stucco, and a texture that stays slip-resistant when it is wet.
Splash, screen rooms, and furniture
Water from the window goes to the patio drain or a side-yard outfall, not back under the slider track. If a screen enclosure already exists we work around posts and kick plates so the new landing does not trap water at the footer. Furniture and bar stools sit on the landing, not on raw metal feet that rust into the stone.
