Coordinating a New Paver Pool Deck with Plaster or Pebble Finish
Pinellas pool remodels often run the deck and the interior finish in the same month. If the plaster or pebble crew walks a finished paver field, or if pavers land on an uncured bond beam, you get stained joints, chipped coping, and a pitch that no longer meets the waterline. PaverForge Hardscapes coordinates the deck so each trade has a window.
Order of work that actually holds
Confirm beam elevation and isolation joints before any bedding sand goes down.
Leave a clean working strip at the waterline until the finish crew is off the beam.
Set coping after the interior schedule is locked, not before.
Keep grinders, plaster overspray, and acid wash off open polymeric joints.
What we protect on site
We cover finished fields when another trade must cross them, and we do not sand joints until the wet trades are done throwing material. If the pool builder is still shooting pebble, the deck stops at a temporary edge. That costs a return trip and saves a full reclean.
