E-Bike Charging Pedestal Pads on a Paver Court
E-bike and scooter chargers are showing up on garage aprons and side courts across St. Pete, Clearwater, and the beaches. A pedestal set on loose pavers rocks, and a cord across the soldier course becomes a trip edge. PaverForge Hardscapes builds the pad and the cord path. Pad and isolation
The pedestal needs a small reinforced landing, isolated from the house slab, with pavers cut tight around the base so the unit does not sit in a sand bowl. We compact the base under the landing, pin the edge restraint, and leave a sleeve if the electrician is still pulling the circuit.
We do not wire the charger. The electrician sets the pedestal height; we set the hardscape so the finished paver meets the base plate without a lip.
Cord path and drainage
A shallow recessed joint or a flush cord channel keeps the lead out of the tire path. Pitch still runs away from the garage. If the court is also a rinse area, the pad is not the low point, so water does not stand at the receptacle.
Golf-cart pads are a related but heavier section. An e-bike pad can be smaller, but it still wants 60 mm or 80 mm units and a locked joint. Scope and booking: https://www.paverforge.com/services and https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
HOA and beach lots
Some beach HOAs want the pedestal off the front elevation. A side-yard court pad keeps the unit out of the driveway throat and still on a stable base. We photo the sleeve and the isolation joint for the architectural packet.
