Flush Hose-Spigot Grade Rings in Finished Paver Walks
A hose spigot that was fine on bare soil becomes a problem once the walk is paved. Bury it and the hose will not reach. Leave a raw pipe and the ring becomes a trip edge after the field settles.
Ring, splash, and pitch
We set a grade ring or a small paved collar at the bib, pitch the splash zone away from the house, and keep two pavers removable so the valve can be swapped later. The walking field stays flush. The splash does not run back under the stucco weep.
Not the same as a valve box
Irrigation valve boxes and hose bibs already have their own details on this blog. This ring is the finished-walk version: a visible, flush spigot you can use every week without standing in a low spot.
Add it to the walk quote
Tell us where the bibs are when you book. PaverForge Hardscapes, 727-490-9798, builds the rings with new walks and when we re-level an existing field in Pinellas.
