Flush Seawall Cathodic-Protection Test Points
A cathodic-protection lead on a Pinellas seawall is useless if the finished cap pavers bury it. The marine contractor needs a repeatable place to clip a meter. We set a removable paver or small metal plate over the test point so the reading happens without a saw cut through the field.
What the plate has to do
The plate is a hardscape detail, not the cathodic system. We do not size anodes or certify readings. We build the access so the lead stays reachable, the lid sits flush with the cap, and stormwater does not pond in the pocket.
Removable lid matched to the cap paver module
Pocket isolated from the equipotential bond path
Pitch so the test lead does not sit in a puddle
Independent joint at the seawall concrete so cap movement does not pinch the wire
When to call
Call before the cap pavers go down, or when a rebuild is already lifting the field. PaverForge Hardscapes sets the plate. The marine electrician owns the anode and the test. For a Pinellas seawall cap, call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
