Flush Under-Deck Drainage Cleanout Rings
Raised lanai floors and paver decks over a crawl or a storage bay often hide a drainage cleanout. Paving over it looks clean until the line clogs and the only way in is a saw cut.
How the ring is set
We frame the cleanout with a flush access ring set to the finished paver grade. The ring is wide enough for a wrench, and the field pitches off the ring so wash water does not stand in the opening. Bedding sand stops at the ring, not inside it.
If the deck is over a screen-cage storage bay, we keep the ring out of the main walk path and mark it on the as-built photos. A later snake or cap replacement lifts the ring, not the field.
How to start
Call PaverForge Hardscapes at 727-490-9798. A photo of the cleanout and the deck elevation is enough to say whether a flush ring fits before the pavers go down.
