Garage-Door Weather-Seal Height After a Pinellas Paver Re-Level

A re-level that only chases ponding can raise the first row into the garage-door weather seal. The door then scuffs the pavers, the seal rolls, and rain tracks under the slab. PaverForge Hardscapes measures the door travel before a stone is lifted.

What we measure first

Closed-door seal height, open-door clearance, slab lip thickness, and the existing pitch away from the garage. If the field has to come up to kill a pond, the extra height is taken out in the mid-field, not stacked against the threshold.

Where the garage slab sits a full paver thickness above the old drive, we use a planned step-down instead of running 80mm units into the lip. A trip edge at the door is worse than the pond you came to fix.

After the reset

The door gets a test cycle before joint sand. If the seal kisses the field, we drop that row and re-pitch. Call 727-490-9798 or book a photo quote. Bring a closed-door shot and an open-door shot so the first visit is a measurement, not a guess.
