Gulf Boulevard Hardscapes in Indian Rocks Beach

Gulf Boulevard is the spine of Indian Rocks Beach. Lots are narrow, the water table sits close to the shell, and a mainland base detail will pump sand out of the joints after the first king tide. Parking pads and beach-access walks take the abuse, not the back patio.

Barrier-island base

We excavate only as deep as the water allows, then compact a clean aggregate that can drain. A sand-only bed looks fine on install day and settles by the next full moon. Edge restraint is mandatory on the Gulf Boulevard side so the field does not walk into the right-of-way.

  • Through-body color pavers, not a painted face that salt will strip

  • Pitch to a legal outfall, not toward the neighbor's side yard

  • Staging that keeps one lane of Gulf Boulevard open

  • No seal until joints are locked and the field has dried

PaverForge Hardscapes is based on St. Pete Beach and works the Gulf Boulevard corridor. For an Indian Rocks Beach quote, call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
