Isolating a Pool Bond-Wire Chase Under a Finished Paver Deck

Florida pool decks carry an equipotential bond grid. When we rebuild a paver field around an existing shell, that copper cannot be pinched in the bedding sand or left where a future lift will nick it. PaverForge Hardscapes sleeves the chase and isolates it from the walking surface.

What the inspector wants to see

Bond connections at ladders, rails, and the shell stay accessible or documented. We do not bury a raw crimp in bedding sand. A short conduit sleeve through the field lets the wire pass under the pavers without becoming a trip edge or a saw-cut target later.

Rebuild sequence

After the old units come up, we locate the existing grid, mark it, and only then screed new bedding. Isolation joints at the beam stay open. Salt-cell equipment pads stay off the bonded deck field so vibration does not work joints loose.

Pool-deck rebuilds from St. Pete Beach through Clearwater. Call 727-490-9798.
