Large-Format Pavers vs Standard Modular on Pinellas Lots
Large-format pavers look clean in a catalog. On Pinellas sand they behave differently than a 6x9 or three-piece modular field. The unit is heavier. The joint is longer. A hollow spot under one stone reads as a rocker you can feel.
PaverForge Hardscapes specs format to the load, not the mood board. Call 727-490-9798.
Where large-format earns the spec
Patios, pool decks, and walks that stay off tire loads can take a 12x24 or 16x24 field if the base is flat, the bedding is consistent, and the edge is locked. A lighter color stays cooler. The joints are easier to keep clean.
Where modular still wins
Driveways, aprons, and any field that takes a turning load want a smaller interlocking unit, usually 80mm. A large-format stone that cracks on a driveway is not an upgrade. It is a replacement.

No large-format sold as a driveway because it photographed well

How we decide on site
Bring the look you want. We will walk the lot, name the load, and put the format in the quote before anyone orders pallets.
