Mid-Drive Repair Bands Using Leftover Pallet Units
A one-square patch in the middle of a ten-year-old Pinellas driveway always reads as a patch. Leftover units from the original job, or a close current run, work better as a mid-field soldier or accent band that looks intended.
PaverForge Hardscapes plans that band when we open a settled lane. Call 727-490-9798 before you dump the extra pallet at the curb.
Why a band beats a blotch
Color and texture drift between production runs. A tight rectangle of newer stone in an old field advertises the repair. A full-width band, or a pair of soldier courses, hides the mismatch because the eye reads a design line, not a hole. We still rebuild the base under that band. Pretty joints on a soft pocket will settle again.
Keep a few extra units from every new install. Store them out of the irrigation overspray. That box is the cheapest color match you will ever own.
How to start a repair-band quote
Send photos of the settled lane and any leftover stones. Call 727-490-9798 or book online. We will tell you on site whether the leftovers are close enough to use as a band.
