Outdoor Kitchen Side-Burner Isolation Plates
A side burner is a small pan with a big mess. Grease, boil-over, and a hotter footprint than the rest of the kitchen floor. Polymeric sand under that pan stains, hazes, and locks the units so the next service call chips them.
PaverForge Hardscapes sets an isolation plate in the paver floor under the burner, with a path for drip that does not run back toward the screen posts. Call 727-490-9798 or book at https://www.paverforge.com/book-online.
Plate, setback, and drain
The plate sits on the same compacted base as the kitchen pad. We keep a setback from the screen cage and from the combustible cabinet, and we give drip a trapped path instead of a flat joint. The field around it can still be sand-set and restrained.
If the kitchen is already built, we lift only the bay under the burner. The rest of a sound floor stays. Send the burner model and a photo of the floor joint. We will say whether this is a plate or a short rebuild.
