Pallet Drop, Lot Protection, and Color-Blend Staging on Pinellas Jobs
Factory pallets are not a finished driveway. If you set one bundle at the garage and another at the street, the field reads as two colors in afternoon sun. If you drop those pallets on wet St. Augustine, you own a dead lawn for the rest of the job. PaverForge Hardscapes stages delivery as part of the install, not as a forklift afterthought.
How we stage a drop
Pallets land on boards or access mats along the edge of the work, never in the tire path we still have to compact. We pull units from several pallets at once so tan, charcoal, and the mid-tone all appear in every few square feet. Leftover cuts go back on a spare pallet for future face-chip repairs.
Mats or cribbing under every pallet on turf or paver walks
Blend three or more pallets in each screed bay
Keep one mixed spare pallet on site until the last cut is done
Photograph the staged blend before joints are swept so the owner sees the plan
Tight-lot version
On St. Pete Beach and Madeira Beach streets we often split the delivery: base rock one morning, pavers the next, so the travel lane is not blocked overnight. Tell us about HOA or town parking rules when you book. Call 727-490-9798. PaverForge Hardscapes stages pallet drops across Pinellas County from the barrier islands inland to Largo and Clearwater.
