Paver Patio Under an Existing Pool Cage

Working under a cage that is already built

New-construction sequences put the paver deck in before the screen enclosure. Remodel jobs in Pinellas often go the other way: the cage is standing, the old poured deck has settled, and the patio has to be rebuilt around posts, kick plates, and door sills.

PaverForge Hardscapes isolates every screen-enclosure footer from the paver field, keeps weep paths open at the kick plate, and matches the slider threshold so the door still clears after the new wearing surface is in.

Cage-in-place constraints

  • Hand work and a compact plate around posts — a full-size saw and roller will not fit.

  • Bond-breaker at the pool beam so plaster and pavers do not lock together.

  • Deck pitch to the cage weeps, not back under the sliders.

  • Protection on the screen mesh and door tracks the entire time pallets are inside the cage.
