Permeable Paver Reservoir Depth for Pinellas Storm Events
A Pinellas afternoon cell is not a light sprinkle. If you sell a permeable field with a patio-thin open-graded section, the reservoir fills, the joints geyser, and the owner decides PICP does not work. The section was undersized.
PaverForge Hardscapes sizes PICP reservoirs for the lot and the storm, then writes the cleanout path. Call 727-490-9798.
Reservoir, not a skin
Open-graded stone under a PICP field has to store and pass the design storm before it daylight or a underdrain. On sugar sand we still use geotextile at the subgrade so fines do not migrate up. On a parking stall or a commercial pad the reservoir is deeper than a patio. We will not copy a walkway section under tires.
Joints and maintenance
PICP joints take open-graded chip, not polymeric sand. After a storm season they need a vacuum, not a pressure-wash that drives fines into the reservoir. We hand off a one-page maintenance note with the closeout.
If a board wants stormwater credit, say so on the first call so the section and the inspection photos match the intent. Call 727-490-9798.
