Pizza Oven and Outdoor Hearth Pads in Pinellas

A pizza oven or outdoor hearth is a point load on a small pad, often next to a wood fence and a screen enclosure. Pinellas lots settle. If the pad tips, the oven door binds and the hearth cracks. PaverForge Hardscapes builds these pads as structure, then sets the stone on top.

The pad is not a patio leftover

We do not steal four leftover pavers from the field and call it an oven pad. The pad gets its own compacted base, a non-combustible setting bed where the manufacturer requires one, and pitch that throws grease and wash water away from the house.

  • Keep clearances the oven maker publishes, not a guess from a catalog photo.

  • Isolate the heavy pad from the patio field so settlement does not telegraph across both.

  • Use a darker, textured stone that hides ash better than a white pool-deck porcelain.

  • Plan the gas or wood storage so the side yard still walks.

Screen enclosures and salt

Many Pinellas hearths sit under a lanai. We coordinate with the enclosure footer so we are not trenching a post. Salt air eats cheap metal surrounds; we detail masonry and stone first and leave the appliance brand to the owner.

Add a hearth to a patio quote

If you already want a patio or outdoor kitchen in St. Pete Beach or south Pinellas, ask for the hearth pad in the same scope. Call 727-490-9798 or email PaverForge@gmail.com with the oven model and a photo of the corner you want to use.
