Pool-Fence and Screen-Enclosure Posts Through Pinellas Paver Decks
A screen enclosure or pool fence that lands in a paver deck is two systems sharing one hole. The post wants a concrete footing. The paver field wants to drain and move a little. Pour the footing as a blob under the stones and you get a hard spot that telegraphs, a joint that never sands, and a post that rusts in trapped water.
How we isolate the post
PaverForge sets the footing below the paver section, sleeves the post, and cuts the field around a collar so the stones can be lifted later without wrecking the cage. Kick plates and door thresholds are a separate detail — already covered on their own page. This page is the post in the field.
Footing below the bedding, not a pad sitting in the sand
Clearance so the field can be re-leveled without cutting the post
Pitch away from the post so water does not sit against the steel
Coordination with the cage contractor on post layout before we set the first course
Existing cages
If the cage is already up and the floor has settled, we can work around posts. That is slower than an open deck. It is still a real rebuild of the field, not a bag of sand dumped in the dish.
