Setting a Pool Ionizer and Mineral-Feeder Pad Isolated From a Pinellas Deck
Ionizers and mineral feeders do not belong on the deck field
Copper-silver ionizers and mineral feeders sit on a small pad or bracket near the filter. When they rest on pavers, two things happen: the unit leans as the field settles, and splash from cell or cartridge service stains the nearest soldier course. PaverForge Hardscapes gives that unit its own isolated pad with a service pitch.
What we build
A compact pad sized to the feeder plus wrench room, not a leftover scrap of slab
A bond-breaker at the cage footer and at the first paver
A pitch toward a gravel pocket or trapped drain, away from coping
Room for the bonding lug and any required disconnect
Mineral systems still overflow when a cartridge is changed. We keep that water off limestone and light concrete pavers. If staining already started, we can clean the field after the new pad is in, but the pad has to come first or the stain returns.
Plan the pad when the deck is open. Retrofitting later means lifting a corner of the field around the equipment pad. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
