Pool Safety-Cover Sensor Recess Plates

A safety cover only alarms if the sensor can see the cover seat. On a new paver deck the sensor, the track end, and the cover housing all want the same few inches at the waterline. PaverForge cuts a flush recess plate for the sensor so the cover lays down and the alarm stays reachable.

Flush, not proud

A sensor screwed to the paver surface becomes a barefoot trip edge and a snag for the cover strap. The plate is recessed to the paver face, with a drain path so rain does not sit on the contacts. We leave the manufacturer's clearance around the sensor and do not bury the lead under bedding sand.

Separate from anchor sockets

Cover anchor sockets are the brass cups the straps lock into. This plate is only the alarm sensor and, where the installer asks, the track-end pocket. Both can be in the same deck. We coordinate the layout with the cover company before the field is cut, because moving a sensor after polymeric sand is a second mobilization.
