Setting a Pool Vacuum-Release SVRS Controller Isolation Pad
A vacuum-release or SVRS controller does not belong on the same sand-set field as the pool deck. Equipment vibration and splash will walk a box off a thin pad and leave a hollow under the adjacent pavers. PaverForge Hardscapes builds a dedicated isolation pad with its own base and a joint break from the cage floor.
How the pad is detailed
We size the pad to the manufacturer footprint plus service clearance, compact a crushed-concrete base independent of the deck section, and pitch splash away from the cage footer. Conduit sleeves are set before the field is closed so a future pump swap does not mean cutting finished pavers.
The isolation joint at the deck keeps a settled equipment corner from telegraphing a trip edge across the sun shelf or the screen-door threshold.
Add it to a deck rebuild
If you are replacing a Pinellas pool deck or moving equipment during a heater upgrade, ask us to include the SVRS pad in the same mobilization. Call 727-490-9798.
