Setting a Pool Waterfall Pump and Catch-Basin Isolation Pad
Sheer descents and rock waterfalls put a small pump, a suction grate, and a constant splash zone next to a finished pool deck. If that equipment sits on the same bedding sand as the field, the deck walks itself apart in two summers.
Why the pad is separate
We pour or set a dedicated isolation pad with a bond-breaker at the pool beam and a trapped catch basin under the weir. The deck pavers stop at a soldier course so you can lift units later without cutting the waterfall plumbing.

What we set with the plumber
Electrical bonding, salt-cell chemistry, and the cage footer all stay off this pad. The pump gets a service aisle so a technician can pull it without walking across freshly locked joints.
If your waterfall already buzzes the deck, we can cut an isolation joint and rebuild just the pad instead of tearing the whole cage floor. Call 727-490-9798.
