Property Pins and As-Built Layout Before Pinellas Paver Excavation
A pretty paver field that sits six inches over the neighbor's pin is still a problem. Pinellas lots are tight, HOA fences sit on assumptions, and city aprons have to hit the sidewalk where the sidewalk already is. PaverForge Hardscapes treats layout as a step that happens before the saw, not after the first course looks crooked.
What we record before excavation
Property pins and visible monuments we can find without pretending we are a surveyor of record
Existing slab or asphalt elevations at the garage, sidewalk, and gutter
Fence posts, irrigation heads, and cleanouts that have to stay or be reset
The square line for the first course so the field does not drift toward the house
Why as-built notes save the job
When a Pinellas inspector or HOA manager asks why the apron moved, we want photos and a simple sketch from day one — not a memory. If the existing concrete already encroaches, we flag it before we make it permanent in pavers. If the lot has no visible pins, we tell the owner a survey may be required instead of guessing the side yard.
Layout also sets drainage. A field can be square and still dump water at the slider. We shoot grades with the same pass that sets the string line.
Start with a layout visit
For a Pinellas driveway rebuild, ask PaverForge to walk pins and grades first. Call 727-490-9798 or email PaverForge@gmail.com. We will tell you if the lot is ready to excavate or if a survey or HOA packet has to come first.
