Putting Greens and Bocce Courts on Pinellas Paver Patios
A putting green or bocce court looks like play equipment. Underneath it is a hardscape: grade, base, edge, and water. PaverForge Hardscapes builds the frame so the turf or court surface has something honest to sit on, and so the patio around it does not pond.
The frame is the job
A compacted perimeter and a soldier-course or soldier-and-sailor edge that will not creep.
Pitch off the house even when the green wants to read as level.
A drain plan for the low corner — Pinellas summer storms do not care about par 3.
A clean joint between the court and the entertaining patio so chairs do not catch a lip.
Turf vs paver court
Some owners want turf in the middle and pavers as the walk ring. Some want a full paver bocce surface with a finer joint. Both work if the base is real. Neither works if you staple turf to a dirt bowl and hope the edge stays pretty.
HOA and neighbor grade
A raised court that sheds onto the neighbor is how you buy a complaint. We shoot grades before we set the first course. If the association has a rule on artificial turf or court lighting, that belongs in the quote, not after the pallet lands.
