Rebuilding a Pool-Cage Floor Without Removing the Cage in Pinellas
A screen enclosure in Pinellas is expensive to take down and put back. Most cage floors can be rebuilt in place if we can get material through a side yard and if the posts stay protected while the base is compacted.
PaverForge Hardscapes rebuilds pool-cage paver floors across south Pinellas. Call 727-490-9798 or book a walkthrough at paverforge.com/book-online.
What has to stay true under a cage
Pitch away from the house and toward working deck drains
A compacted base that does not undermine screen posts
A joint at the waterline and coping that can be maintained
A surface cooler and safer than a raw slab in August
In-place rebuild vs tear-down
We keep the cage when the frame is sound and we can stage through a gate. We recommend a tear-down only when the posts sit on a failed slab we cannot work around, or when access is so tight that hand-carrying every ton would cost more than a controlled screen removal.
Porcelain and concrete pavers both work under a cage. The product choice is heat and slip. The structure choice is still the base.
How to start a cage-floor quote
Send photos of the cage interior, the gate width, and any ponding at the slider. Call 727-490-9798. We will tell you on the walkthrough whether the cage stays up.
