Replacing Face-Chipped Driveway Units After a Moving-Truck Scrape

A moving truck that rides the edge of a paver driveway will face-chip the soldier course and sometimes drag a few units out of plane. The field underneath is usually still good. PaverForge Hardscapes replaces the damaged units and resets the border instead of selling a full tear-out.

Lift, blend, reset

We pull the chipped units, check the bedding, and reset from a repair pallet that matches the original blend. A single-color patch reads as a scar. Mixing three faces from the leftover pallet hides the repair after one wet season.

Lock the joints again

The opened joints get vacuumed, re-sanded, and compacted. If the truck also kicked the plastic edge, we re-pin or switch that run to a salt-tolerant restraint before the sand goes down. Keep vehicles off the patch until the joints lock.

Pinellas-wide repair calls. Send photos of the scrape, the border, and any leftover pallet. Call 727-490-9798 or book at paverforge.com/book-online.
