Routing AC Condensate and Pool Backwash off Pinellas Paver Fields
Air-handler condensate and pool-filter backwash look harmless until they run across a new paver field every day. The water is slightly acidic or salty, it keeps joints wet, and it carves a dark path that no sealer hides.
What fails
A hose laid on the deck stains the soldier course. A condensate line that drips at the slider soaks the bedding sand and the first units settle. Backwash that sheets toward the house beam leaves a tide line on the coping.
The fix
We sleeve the line under the field to a side-yard splash basin or dry well, or we build a small recessed basin with a grate that is flush with the pavers. Pitch around the basin is rebuilt so wash water never sits in the joints. Fresh polymeric is installed only after the leak path is gone.
