Setting a Flush Irrigation Isolation-Valve Box at a Pinellas Property Line
An isolation valve at the property line is the difference between shutting one lot and tearing up a shared walk when a lateral breaks. PaverForge Hardscapes sets a grade-ringed valve box flush in the paver field so the lid takes a heel, not a trip, and the operator can still get a key on the valve.
Why flush beats a mound of mulch
Mulch mounds wash into the box, hide the lid, and contaminate bedding sand. A flush box with a color-matched lid sits in a soldier ring. We compact around the box so the field does not settle into a cone after the first wet season.
Property-line geometry
The box belongs on the private side of the pin, not in the city sidewalk. We confirm the pin, keep the box out of the driveway throat wheel path when we can, and sleeve any future-lighting conduit that shares the same trench. After polymeric sand, we keep irrigation off the joints until they lock.
Add an isolation box during a walk rebuild
This is cheapest when the walk is already open. Call 727-490-9798 if you are replacing a Pinellas walk or driveway and want the isolation valve brought up to grade at the same time.
